Loewe brand glances back in 60's fashion!

Loewe brand, owned by LVMH, deals in leather goods, ready-to-wear, silk accessories & fragrances participated in Spring/Summer trunk show held in Singapore recently where the designs showcased had touches of 60's fashion.

Loewe's ready-to-wear fashion gave a clean, but lustrous and stylish look. A model wearing sleek white mini and its neckline in gathered pleats looked awesome as she sauntered on the ramp.

Loewe's version of trousers plays twin roles. It can be worn baggy or shapely, according to the shape or mood of the wearer.

During 60s cool neutrals and graphic florals, in a palette of white, beige and pistachio ruled. Loewe created mod-style florals in green, yellow and light brown for short dresses with billowing sleeves, V-neck tops, capri pants and three-piece suits.

The evening wear of the label exudes glamour, sweetness as well as romantic looks. They were designed in short-sleeved coat blouse matched with three-quarter white pants.

The label is quite aware that accessories can add modest elegance and unassuming glamour. Throughout the show, models cat walked in comfy, wedges made of snakeskin or lambskin, or in black or green velvet dotted with pearls.

Another accessory for which Loewe is known in the international market is handbags. Sensuous, weightless made of butter-soft lambskin, in clasps work like ropes, Loewe's latest carrier definitely convey style and practicality.

These bags come in four sizes and in various colours inspired from a woman's make-up palette like dusty rose, geranium, peacock blue, lavender, mimosa yellow and mink shadow.

Loewe has a reputation as the most luxurious and renowned boutique in Madrid is loved by fashionistas because of super-fine workmanship. Loewe label may not share same status as trend-setting names like Prada, Chloe or Marc Jacobs, it is sought after for its classic allure.
