ABIT, through the Texbrasil Program and with the support of APEX-Brasil, kicked off the third edition of the Texbrasil Circuit - International Market Studies, on May 16. The objective is to bring apparel businesspeople information and guidance about the fashion market in other nations in an attempt to increase exports of Brazilian products.

This time, ABIT is bringing consultants from Italy, Argentina and Portugal/Spain to Brazil. They were especially contracted by the Association and will give free presentations in the following cities: São Paulo, Blumenau, Belo Horizonte and Natal.

This edition of the Texbrasil Circuit brings changes in the dynamics of the event compared to previous editions: now, the lectures with foreign specialists who will address the fashion market in their countries and give their opinion on Brazilian fashion will be held on the same day the companies that went through the ABIT Products Clinic will exhibit their products in a technical showroom for evaluation and analysis by the consultants. Sao Paulo was the only exception, and the technical showroom was held the day before the lectures.

At the opening of the event in São Paulo, Texbrasil Program manager, Rafael Ceryone netto underscored the importance of the Circuit and introduced a brief analysis of the two previous editions. “We brought 10 consultants from 10 different countries and they traveled to 9 Brazilian cities. Altogether, they gave 50 lectures and analyzed 4800products from more than 1200 companies,” said Ceryone. “I hope we can establish solid relationships between our nations,” he commented.
