Designer Elizabeth Moore is expanding her successful film set, interior design and furniture design business by announcing the launch of her eco-conscious Froote Jewelry line.
In creating Froote Jewelry, Moore combines her passion for art and her spirituality. "I wanted to create something that could be shared by others and that would remind others of the beauty they possess inside themselves, while simultaneously creating pieces that were reminders of the preciousness of the life we have on this planet," says Moore, who holds a Bachelor's of Fine Art degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology.
Moore creates the Froote Jewelry sensuous designs using high-end precious stones, semi-precious stones, pearls, silver and gold. The Island, Calypso and Tudor lines will be the first debuted.
The Island Line, inspired by the South Pacific Islands, uses subtle colors to reflect their delicate, luxurious and magical atmosphere. Stones used in this collection include sapphires, chalcedony, tourmaline, aquamarine and others to evoke happiness, kindness, friendship, love, spirituality, youth, wisdom, endurance, and vitality.
The Calypso line is a tribute to the aspect of femininity intended to seduce, capture and mesmerize. Natural slices of green and watermelon tourmaline, rose quartz and citrine cleanse, energize and bring forth peace and prosperity, according to Moore. Many Calypso designs dangle freely from links, while other designs use tubing of tightly strung stones.
