Marchpole Holdings plc, the fashion brand management group, is pleased to announce that it has formally opened for trading its Jean Charles de Castelbajac ('JCC') UK flagship store in the fashion heart of London.

The store is located at 50-51 Conduit Street, London W1, a prime location centred between Mayfair's prestigious Bond Street and Saville Row.

The store reflects the growing success of the JCC brand and is an integral element of Marchpole's strategy to strengthen its international platform of luxury brands.

Since the acquisition of the JCC brand in 2004, Marchpole has made significant investment in the fashion label and has extended the recognition of the brand worldwide through licensing agreements and high-profiled partnerships such as with Itochu in Japan, Lee Cooper Inc, New Era, the US based leading headwear company and Rossignol, the major ski wear company part of the Quicksilver Group.

Designed by Jean Charles de Castelbajac himself, the store and it will stock the entire vista of Castelbajac's unique pop-influenced range including his fashion clothing collections, luggage, sunglasses, shoes, headwear and stationery.

The London store joins JCC other international flagship outlets, including those in Paris, Tokyo, Kobe, Guam, Galeries Lafayette and Lyon.

Recognised as an iconic French designer, Jean Charles de Castelbajac has been designing and creating high quality men's and women's apparel and accessories for more than 30 years. Castelbajac's first collection was shown in 1973 and his style has and continues to be worn by numerous celebrities including Madonna and Mick Jagger.

Michael Morris, Executive Deputy Chairman of Marchpole, commented: 'I am delighted to open this new London store which represents yet another important step in raising the brand's awareness on the international fashion stage. The JCC label has an established popularity in key brand driven markets and we continue to work with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac to build upon the success of the brand to date.'
