Foreign clothing brands - Fad in high-end market

China has emerged as one of the biggest markets for consumer products, principally for textiles and clothing goods. Now, not only are the local enterprises shifting to domestic market but also many international clothing brands are entering China.

Therefore, the competition among clothing brands in China has become very strong.

However, it has been noted that foreign brands are becoming much more popular, particularly in the high-end markets. This is especially true for men's clothing brands.

Experts say, the reason for this is that locals are becoming fashion conscious and seek variety in patterns and styles.

They say that Chinese manufacturers are not innovative and offer clothing that is similar in design. Companies do not keep track of international fashion trends and produce garments that are no longer considered trendy.

Source from Youngor Group, one of the most important men-clothes brands in China, said many Chinese customers embraced foreign brands, especially, Italian and French brands. Major reason is the quality of clothes which comes from chic fabrics used.

Thus, in order overcome this key problem, Youngor Group has set up their own fabric production base.

Experts advise that companies must work hard to manufacture high-quality products. This will help them tap into high-end market, which earns more profits than the middle and low grade market.
