Jimmy Choo opens store at Westfield Topanga

Jimmy Choo has opened at Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park, California. This week commemorates the unveiling of the luxury wing of the mall, with the grand opening of Neiman Marcus on Friday, September 5.
Extending over 1400 square feet, this is the brand's fifth store in California, in addition to locations in Beverly Hills, San Diego, South Coast Plaza and San Francisco.
The new store is located on the first floor of the center adjacent to such other luxury brands as Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany and Co.
This store showcases an extensive selection of Jimmy Choo shoe, handbag, small leather goods and sunglass collections. The assortment is tailored to the market and includes the most fashion forward elements of the collection.
This unique space reflects the global design store concept, echoing the sensibility of the Jimmy Choo brand, evoking the architectural glamour of a 1940's boutique.
The gentle, harmonious beige interior colour scheme comprises a palette of ivory, pale rose and sand, inspired by the brand's house colours.
While the elegant silver of the Jimmy Choo lettering is echoed in the decorative elements: mother of pearl finishes, Italian lacquer boiserie and crystal drop chandeliers.
The juxtaposition of iridescent surfaces, outsize furniture with soft tactile fabrics and honeyed lighting creates a tantalising environment to present the exquisite glamour of Jimmy Choo designs.
Tamara Mellon, Jimmy Choo President and Founder has created a feminine, luxurious and intimate surrounding to showcase the shoe and bag collection: "I want it to feel as though you are walking into a lady's dressing room, a woman's boudoir."

Within the past year, we have relocated our Beverly Hills flagship to Rodeo Drive, opened a new store in San Diego, and will soon be renovating South Coast Plaza," commented Joshua Schulman, Jimmy Choo Chief Executive Officer.
