Pringle of Scotland presents Resort collection for women. An exquisite lightness of touch enlivens considered proportions; volume is restrained and narrow as weightless folds shift and fall with fluid ease. Slender pleat structures adorn the simplest forms with measured precision; sheer gathers delicately unfold into liquid draped transparencies in incandescent impressionist shades of vintage pink, lilac, and dark blush lifted with lights of yellow, calmed with cold, quiet grey.

Fluted pintucks adorn necklines, unfurling into voluminous free-flowing silk abstract spot print dresses. Accordion pleat panels embellish the yokes of uncomplicated artists' shirts and cotton-voile t-shirts are overlaid with gentle pleats; ultra-fine pintuck centre panels on dresses and poplin skirts are toughened with the exposure of steel zip fastenings. Light jersey dresses twist and fall with soft folds, slipping easily around the body; a short-sleeved drawstring jersey dress is gently gathered with a drawstring waist, accentuated with nickel rivets.

Filmy gauze knits are made precious and unique with individually hand-executed techniques; a pure silk three-colour pinstripe cinch-waisted cardigan with pleatfold detailing is individually shaded by hand, fading from hemline to shoulder.

Weightless viscose knits, long lean cardigans or jewel-necked tanks with sheer frill edging are printed with engineered breton stripes in a two-stage process.

Knits softly layer with easy double-pleat pants in pearlised wool-silk or ultra-fine scratch tweed with insert belt details, cropped to the ankle.

Rigid cottons, burnished jacquards and pearlescent technical nylons are shaped with restrained volume; a silken melange origami pleat skirt is sculpted from painterly striped jacquard, luminous; dense texturised cotton is moulded into short-sleeved soft shifts with knit-rib cuff finishing, pleated gently at the waist.

A cotton linen coat fits shoulders closely with racer-back seaming opening into a peplum skirt, zig-zag trace-stitch borders and back-waist overlap-pleating creating elements of embellishment. A textured Japanese cotton jacket is belted at the waist and adorned with the simplest of ruched collars, whilst a weightless trench in taffeta technical nylon with overlaid pleat detail suggests gently considered proportions and a breath of whisper-soft volume.
