Tanning Tech fairs well despite odds

As we were saying, the current reshaping of the system is a reality that has to be faced. A slimming down of the sectors is only logical and to be expected, as too the fall in visitor numbers at the trade fairs, but these additional bureaucratic hurdles simply add to the difficulties.

Moreover, the ever rising cost of “logistics” (hotels, restaurants, transfers etc.) has led to a drop in the number of visitors per company and the length of their stays.

The small fall in visitor numbers witnessed is a clear sign that the event is 'holding water'. It is equally clear that without the aforementioned difficulties, we could well be speaking of a slight – or considerable – increase in visitor numbers!

The significance and role of trade fairs is currently under the microscope and Tanning Tech cannot avoid analysis or self criticism. Contacts between the organisation, exhibitors and visitors are intense and the best counter measures will certainly be studied in the coming weeks.

In the meanwhile, the event has shown that the sectors involved are keen to do everything necessary for it to conserve its role - which remains that of leader.
