Lifestyle retailer Eddie Bauer files registration statement with SEC

Leading lifestyle retailer Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc announced it has filed a Form 10 Registration Statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to register its shares with the SEC.
The Registration Statement will not become effective until 60 days after the filing date or at an earlier date as determined by the SEC.
On June 21, 2005, Eddie Bauer Inc announced the company had emerged from the Spiegel Inc Chapter 11 reorganization process under its newly formed parent company, Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc Under the terms outlined in the Plan of Reorganization, Eddie Bauer was required to file a Form 10 Registration Statement and list its common stock on NASDAQ.
"The Filing of their Form 10 is an important step now that Eddie Bauer has emerged as a stand-alone company for the first time in 35 years," said Fabian Mansson, president and CEO of Eddie Bauer.
