Top 15 US fashion brands are collectively worth $70 bn
The top 15 American fashion brands are collectively worth close to $69.2 billion, according to a Brand Finance report. Nike, the most valuable fashion brand in the world as per Interbrand, dominates the fashion category of the Brand Finance list as it is worth $28 billion. However, the brand’s value reduced by 12 per cent from 31 billion in 2017.

Some luxury fashion brands like Michael Kors and Coach are on the list, but non-luxury brands such as Old Navy and Levi’s appear more frequently on it.

Number 2 and 3 positions on the list of the most valuable American fashion brands are taken by Victoria’s Secret and Coach, both of which are valued at $6.1 billion. Polo Ralph Lauren is next with a valuation of $4 billion.

The next 3 positions are taken by Under Armour, The North Face and Michael Kors, valued at $3.7 billion, $3.1 billion and $2.7 billion, respectively. Tommy Hilfiger, Old Navy, Calvin Klein, Levi’s and Gap take up the next positions, with Skechers, Timberland and Converse following closely. (KD)
