The Clarksburg-Bridgeport store will temporarily close its doors on December 31, 2007, so that the planned renovations can be accomplished. The store will remain closed for an approximate four-to-five (4/5) months while the remodeling and expansion project is completed. Pesce described that “For our dedicated customers who love the rock bottom deals that only Gabriel Brothers can provide our store locations in Morgantown and Fairmont will continue to be stocked with incredible buys until our Clarksburg-Bridgeport store re-opens.”
Pesce further stated that “Many of our associates have accepted interim work assignments in other area Gabriel Brothers' facilities while the renovations are in-process, and all associates, even those unable to work in available interim positions, will have the opportunity to reapply once the renovations are completed.”
Gabriel Brothers has served the Clarksburg-Bridgeport communities for nearly twenty (20) years having opened its Thompson Drive store in 1989. “This store is important to us,” Arthur Gabriel, Sr. said, “as it holds a distinct place in our company history.”
Mr. Gabriel went on to say “We are a member of this community, and this renovation project enables us to uniquely give back to the wonderful people of Clarksburg and Bridgeport in recognition of their years of loyalty to our company.” The Clarksburg-Bridgeport store is one of nine (9) currently operating Gabriel Brothers stores in the State of West Virginia.
