MRPL Quality Control Lab bags NABL Accreditation

Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd a mini ratna I and an ONGC group company, has earned the prestigious National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) Accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 Certification for its Quality Control Laboratory in Mangalore.
Armed with this endorsement, MRPL can foray into Bunkering oil marketing, which requires NABL accreditation for the testing laboratory, and also sell finished products in the international market without the customers retesting the products at their end.
The MRPL Quality Control Lab now qualifies for hosting round robbin and proficiency testing programmes by International agencies like ASTM/IP/ISO.
With this achievement MRPL, the Mangalore-based state-of-art refinery which believes in sustained enhancement of customer delight, has ensured one more way to deliver the best to its growing base of customers both in India and abroad.
NABL awards this accreditation and lends their stamp after stringent assessment of the lab's capability to perform tests/Calibrations and provide accurate and reliable results in accordance with ISO / IEC:17025 and relevant specific criteria.
The MRPL Quality Control Laboratory set up in 1995 is one of the best laboratories in the Indian Refining Sector and is equipped with the most modern automatic analytical instruments and highly qualififed personnel.
