Asian benzene prices slump past week

Benzene prices in Asia lowered in the last week due to poor upstream energy values in the region.
In Korea, average prices subsided US$ 40/ton to US$ 565/ton in the last week from US$ 605/ton in the preceding week.
In Japan, average prices contracted by US$ 40/ton while settling at US$ 595/ton in the previous week, a fall of 6.30 per cent from US$ 635/ton in the week before.
In India, average prices dwindled US$ 40/ton in the prior week and were assessed at US$ 600/ton, a slip of 6.25 per cent from US$ 640/ton in the earlier week.
