Benzene prices decline in US past week

Benzene prices declined in US in the last week due to unfavorable market fundamentals in the region.
In US, average prices decreased by 5 cents/gallon and assessed at 345 cents/gallon, a drop of 1.43 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices marched higher sharply by US$ 50/ton and secured at US$ 965/ton in the last week, an increment of 5.46 per cent as compared to the previous week due to higher energy values in the region.
