International fashion houses to hit Men's Fashion Week

Men's Fashion Week is commercial, promotional and artistic fashion forum created upon European standard, identical to similar international fashion events as part of the world fashion calendar with its unique format, strategy of development and location in Europe and the world.

The Fashion Week Calendar with the whole program for the event was announced on 23rd December 2011 – one month before the opening of the international fashion forum on 24th January 2012, together with presentation of the official website.

Men's Fashion Week is cultural and business event, which is held twice a year, to represent men's wear of Bulgarian, European and international designers and fashion houses during a period of one week by fashion defiles with the representatives of show rooms in the format chosen by the participant:

- Independent Fashion Defile
- Fashion Defile with Shared Time for 2 Participants
- Group Fashion Defile for 3 Designers or Fashion Houses
- Private Fashion Party

Some of the independent Bulgarian designers and fashion houses that participated in the first opening edition of Men's Fashion Week and the events, produced by the National Fashion Chamber of Bulgaria, are the following: Julidan, Mony Petrov jeans couture,
Montelli, Rumina Elegant, Ugo Men, the young and perspective designer Evgeny Petkov, who launched his carreer from the National Fashion Chamber of Bulgaria , and the first international designer of men's fashion, who participated in the opening edition – Kataline Botezatu, Romania.

Men's Fashion Week is held on the territory of Ancient Plovdiv, the first town in Europe and one of the most ancient towns in the world at 5th place after Damascus and before Troy. The contemporary of Troy – Ancient and Eternal Plovdiv is a world tourist destination, included as a place to visit by groups for cultural and fashion tourism from Japan, China, Russia, Europe, South and North America, Africa and Australia.

The unforgettable and unique atmosphere of the Renaissance houses in the Ancient Plovdiv and the beautiful ornaments of courts and their exterior and interior, give an additional prestige of inestimable value to the represented fashion collections in the fashion defiles, photo sessions and exposure showrooms.

- Unique fashion podium for presentation not only for Bulgarian, but also for international designers and fashion houses through direct participation and/or international designer exchange in Fashion Week Europe and in the world.

- ?en's Fashion Week is part of the world fashion calendar with constantly rising cultural-economic, tourism and geo-political, advertising and business importance in the fashion world and 3rd international location after Milano and Paris.

- For international exchange the Organizing Committee of the National Fashion Chamber of Bulgaria works in partnership with Expert-Advisory Council for Fashion and Fashion Design of the Municipality of Plovdiv, with European Fashion Council, diplomatic missions and cultural centers of European countries in Bulgaria, as well as with the cooperation of Bulgarian diplomatic corpus and cultural attachés in more than 150 countries in the world.
