The Indian textile industry, which is in the throes of rapid modernization, thanks to the dismantling of the quotas, is becoming aggressive in the international market. On the domestic front, the scenario is equally buoyant with increasing disposables incomes and with the advent of the Shopping Mall Culture.

To satisfy the discerned Indian consumers and also to expand exports of textile and clothing, Indian textile value chain needs to be kept abreast on the specialty and innovative yarns, which form the integral part of the textile and clothing business.

And with Fibre & Yarns Expo, Tecoya aims at bridge this gap to empower the fiber & yarn producers and the weavers, knitters and garmenters, processors, retailers, merchandisers and global buying houses and their agents.

From India and abroad, around 60 specialty fibers and yarns manufacturers of synthetics, cotton, jute, linen, bamboo fiber, milk fiber, soyabean fiber and fibers for technical textile, will exhibit their innovative fibers and yarns alongwith the end products.

The exhibition will also provide a platform for foreign visitors, especially SAFTA members to weigh possibilities for joint ventures.

The spectrum of Tecoya Trend is right from fibre, spinning, weaving, knitting and processing in cotton, synthetics, man-made fibres, ready made garment, retailing and fashion. A high level focus is also on the development of textile machinery and processes.
