US & European PX prices decline this week

Bearish buying sentiments pulled down European and US Paraxylene (PX) prices this week.
Average PX prices fell by US$ 15/ton or 1.24% in European markets during this week ending Sept 5, when compared with the previous week ending August 29.
European selling offers of PX stood in the range of US$ 1185/ton this week against US$ 1200/ton last week.
PX prices also declined in US market during this week when compared to the previous week mainly due to weak energy values.
US PX prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1245-1265/ton this week as compared to US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1275/ton in its previous week.
Average PX prices fell by US$ 15/ton or 1.24% in European markets during this week ending Sept 5, when compared with the previous week ending August 29.
European selling offers of PX stood in the range of US$ 1185/ton this week against US$ 1200/ton last week.
PX prices also declined in US market during this week when compared to the previous week mainly due to weak energy values.
