European propylene surges last week but stays stable in US

Propylene prices surged in Europe in the last week ending Feb 27 from favourable market fundamentals. However they stayed stable in the US due to firm energy market.
In Europe, average prices rose by € 45/ton or 5.70 per cent and were quoted at € 835/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US average prices stayed stable and were assessed at 40 cents/pound last week as against its previous week.
