Higher prices of clothing and footwear contributed 0.5 of a percentage point to the inflation rate, while higher prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and miscellaneous goods and services added 0.1 p.p. each.
Annual price growth the lowest ever – only 1.5% The large deflation in October resulted in a much lower annual inflation rate, actually the lowest ever at 1.5%, which is much less than in the same period last year. Favourable price trends influenced the 12-month average price growth, which for the second consecutive month decreased by 0.1 of a percentage point and now stands at 2.4%.
