29 projects worth Rs8k crores signed at Vibrant Gujarat Textiles Seminar

Speaking exclusively to fibre2fashion, Dalmia said that Indian home textiles products had to be competitively priced vis-à-vis Pakistan and for this, he has plans to provide necessary assistance to local entrepreneurs and SMEs.

There was a Q-A session at the end of the seminar during which, questions were posed to eminent panelists comprising Arun Jariwala and P R Roy, who deftly handled several questions raised by the audience.

Arvind Mills, Bharat Textile Mills, Century Textiles, S Kumars, Chiripal Group, Jindal Spinning/Weaving Mills, Raymonds, Kejriwal, Somani Textiles, Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd, Aarvee Denims Ltd, Durga Synthetics are among the major players to have signed MoUs with the Government of Gujarat for setting up various apparel/garment parks, spinning & processing and weaving plants at different locations within the state.
