EATP (the European Association for Textile Polyolefins) has today released details of the programme for its annual Executive Seminar, to be held in Istanbul on May 7/8.

The theme of the Seminar is
Challenges and opportunities in the changing world of polyolefin textiles
Introducing the programme, EATP Director General Colin Purvis said: “Turkey and the Middle East are currently the most dynamic regions of the world in polyolefin fibres and textiles. Large investments in production capacity are being made there and the local markets are developing in a dynamic way.”

What happens in these areas over the next decade will have a major impact on producers of polyolefin polymers, fibres and textiles throughout Europe. It is therefore particularly appropriate that EATP is holding its 2007 Executive Seminar in Istanbul.

Participation in the Seminar is the best way possible for European producers to understand the dynamics driving growth in polyolefin textiles in Turkey and the Middle East, to assess the opportunities and challenges that this brings to their businesses, and to meet some of the key players in these regions.

“With 17 presentations on key industry issues and activities from leading companies and consultancies, the 2007 EATP Executive Seminar will provide new information, new ideas and new contacts for the large number of industry leaders who will be present. Last year's Executive Seminar in Berlin attracted almost 100 CEOs and senior executives from 16 countries in Europe, Asia and North America, and we expect even more interest this year."
