Although today is the last day of final official round of free trade agreement talks between South Korea and the United States, a few sensitive issues hanging in the balance.
Kim Jong-hoon, the chief South Korean negotiator, said that unresolved issues remained after this round are textiles, anti-dumping remedies along with some others.
However, officials of both the countries are confident that they can strike a deal, before the March end. These outstanding issues can be resolved through informal talks with the involvement of a small number of top-level officials, including the trade ministers and even the presidents of the two countries.
