Cotton Development Trust receives $1mn aid from World Bank

Cotton Development Trust in Mazabuka, the largest town in Zambia, has received an aid of US $1 million to develop the infrastructure under Agricultural Development Support Project (ADSP).
According to the trust head, West Chita, large amount of this money will be used for installation of modern irrigation facilities to increase production to meet the growing demand. This will also enhance quality of cotton seed.
Modern De-linting equipments will be purchased to guarantee the protection of the processed seed.
