Companies take advantage of increasing economic opportunities

The opening of this showroom is a clear indication that more Malaysian companies are taking advantage of increasing economic opportunities abroad to market their competitive and high quality products and services.

Dubai is in the midst of a construction boom. Many developments such as commercial and office buildings, leisure and residential development, hotels as well as shopping malls are being built at a very rapid pace. Demand for ancillary products and services such as interior design services and furniture and fixtures is growing rapidly.

I commend LCL Corporation for its initiative in opening this showroom. The establishment of this showroom comes at a time of strong demand in Dubai for comprehensive interior-fit solutions for new construction developments.

I am sure competition in this sector will be intense. Dubai's many first class facilities will demand quality in terms of the amenities and services to meet the high standards expected by its cosmopolitan residents, shoppers and tenants of these new buildings. To be able to grow in this competitive market, LCL will need to keep pace with changing market trends and innovate extensively to provide the best services and products.

I am thus glad to hear that LCL's corporate philosophy is to embrace competition as it inspires change and flexibility. High-caliber human resources are also the key to the company's success. Such values will allow the company to adapt to different markets and offer customized and niche solutions to its demanding clients.
