Caribbean line cotton to reach markets soon

Barbados is on its way to establish its exclusive line of fine Caribbean cotton with emphasis on local design.
The process of testing and development is already on and once in operation, the Caribbean Line brand will encompass everything from luxury leisure wear and gift items to bed-linen and other cotton made products.
The announcement was made by Anstey Scott, board chairman of Exclusive Cottons of the Caribbean Inc (ECCI) at a press conference on December 13.
The introduction of this brand would help Barbados create a niche in the international market since it is already known for producing the best quality cotton in the world.
Local designers seem very interested in buying the raw material and the sample shown to boutiques has evinced positive response.
