First expert service base for wool industry was set up recently in Lingwu city, NingXia Province. The debut lecture on research and related facilities for the industry was offered on August 4, which saw participation of 26 experts from all over China.

Here, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr Yao Mu, was awarded with contract of consultancy by the Vice Chairman of Ningxia, Mr Li Rui. Some other people were also presented with this honour.

Vice Chairman stated that this expert service base would promote healthy development of the local wool industry.

Reportedly, after the establishment of this project, all wool industry experts from Chinese Academy of Engineering, Xi'an Polytechnic University, China Animal-Product Circulation Association, and Gansu Textile Academy as well as organizations plan to jointly form a wool industrial net.

This net will help these experts to cooperatively import advanced technologies and together increase the overall competition of Chinese wool industry.

This year wool industrial park of Lingwu city, which is one of the top trade centres for the industry, exported US $150 million of wool products.

Experts believe that such projects aiming the development of wool industry will definitely boost sales and exports of wool and wool products.
