Seven new spinning units to be set up by Uzbekengilsanoat Intl

The state controlled joint stock company, Uzbekengilsanoat International has decided to set up seven new green field spinning mills in different regions of the country. Work on these projects will begin from the Navruz festival holidays.
Uzbekengilsanoat International was set up as a state owned company in 1972 and has a total capacity to manufacture 250,000 tons of cotton yarn and 7,500 tons of woolen yarn in different counts and is exported to many countries.
The new seven plants have a combined capacity to produce 27,000 tons of cotton yarn of various counts per year and will be able generate foreign earnings of US $37 million, when fully operational in the next few years.
