Yarn prices soften in recent days

In Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, cotton yarn markets are covered with increased wait-and-see mood, due to softening of cotton prices in recent days. Trade volume of yarn has declined.
Some cotton yarn manufacturers have got into a panic and have reduced their inflated prices by 2000-3000 Yuan / ton. In fact, offers from many manufacturers were too high to attract real transactions in earlier time.
Currently mainstream price of carded 32s is about 42,000 Yuan / ton and the price of high quality 32s yarn is about 43000-44000 Yuan / ton.
As polyester staple fiber prices soared a few days ago, blended polyester / cotton (P/C) yarn prices rapidly followed up, but raw material price has declined in recent days, due to which P/C yarn prices also have come down. Currently mainstream price of PC50/50 32s is 33000-34000 Yuan / ton.
The rayon yarn market too has softened in recent days due to weak price of viscose fiber and currently mainstream price of 30s is around 36500-37000 Yuan / ton, higher offers are over 38,000 Yuan / ton.
