Jo-Ann Fabric offers teacher rewards discount program

Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading national fabric and craft specialty retailer, offers a Teacher Rewards discount program to all teachers to help promote creativity in the classroom.
The program rewards teachers with a free discount card to use on all purchases during the 2007/2008 school year, plus provides advance notice of sales and special events.
Jo-Ann has increased the discount this year giving teachers 15 percent off their purchases. "The out-of-pocket costs that teachers spend on classroom supplies increases every year," said Riddi Kline, Jo-Ann vice president, marketing.
"By offering a discount program to lower these costs, teachers can continue to cultivate creativity among their students."
Making sure that students have the materials necessary to express themselves is important. "Crafts offer an outlet for children to develop important life skills while allowing them to express their creativity and imagination," said Rachel Wright, director of education for Jo-Ann Stores Inc.
"Many teachers look to Jo-Ann for help with classroom projects," said Wright. "Whether the teacher has specific ideas in mind, or needs some suggestions to coincide with lesson plans, we can help."
To sign up for the Teacher Rewards discount card, teachers should visit Guest Services at any Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store location and enter keyword search teacher.
