Computer Generated Solutions (CGS), a leading global provider of technology solutions, announced that Folsom Corporation has chosen the BlueCherry Enterprise Suite to help solve several challenges they face with their current system, including finance, EDI, integrated order processing and warehouse management.

CGS will provide Folsom Corporation, a sporting goods and lifestyle products company that specializes in products for the fishing industry, with BlueCherry ERP, BlueCherry EDI, BlueCherry Mobile Sales Management (B2B and SFA), BlueCherry Advanced Warehouse Solution, and Microsoft Dynamics AP/GL. CGS will also deliver business consulting services and assist them with engineering of their supply chain processes.

Due to the rapid growth of their existing business and the addition of new product classifications, Folsom Corporation required a new system to streamline their operation. Their current, legacy application had been unable to keep pace with their customer needs. After analyzing several systems on the market, they concluded that BlueCherry was the superior choice.

"After a lengthy review of several vendors, it was clear that CGS understood our business needs better than anyone else out there," said Bob Feldsott, VP/Owner of Folsom Corporation. "The selection of BlueCherry came down to its best-in-market functionality and comprehensive capabilities which are backed by CGS's deep industry expertise and wide-ranging knowledge of our people and the challenges they face. We were also able to visit other BlueCherry clients, and once we did that, the choice was abundantly clear."

With the purchase of a new warehouse in Tampa, Florida, Folsom Corporation also required a new warehouse system that could keep up with their continued growth. CGS's BlueCherry Advanced Warehouse Solution will meet those requirements.

"We are excited for the opportunity to be in business with Folsom Corporation and look forward to developing a long-term partnership with them," said Paul Magel, President of the Applications Solutions Group at CGS. "By electing to go with BlueCherry, Folsom will now be able to maximize their business potential by empowering one integrated system to run all aspects of their operation."

Folsom's move to BlueCherry will improve efficiency across the board, enabling them to access accurate information whenever they want, manage by exception, and ultimately focus on growing their business.
