The national women's specialty apparel retailer, Dots, was recently recognized as a top employer in Northeast Ohio and named to Cleveland Plain Dealer's Top Workplaces list for the second year in a row.

The "Top Workplaces" list identifies the leading workplaces with at least 50 employees in the Cleveland area based upon the opinions of the employees. To rank the top mid-sized companies, The Plain Dealer administered a 24-question survey to employees, who answered questions related to their company's direction, ability to execute, career opportunities, manager competence, pay and benefits. The results were published in Sunday's edition of The Plain Dealer.

Dots takes great pride in cultivating an exciting, fun and creative atmosphere both inside Dots Home Office, as well as at any Dots retail location, offering associates a fashion party workplace.

"We are proud to be recognized for a second year by The Plain Dealer as a top workplace," said Rick Bunka, Dots CEO. "We are extremely grateful to be empowered by such committed, talented and fashionable associates. It goes without question that our employees are our greatest asset and we strive to create a fun environment where they can flourish," said Bunka.

The rankings of the Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. The survey measured six different categories including: direction, management, execution, workplace conditions, career opportunities, and pay and benefits. The survey results were compared to the survey results of other companies in the same size category.

To qualify for the Top Workplaces list, a company must have at least 50 employees. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.

Dots is a fashion apparel specialty store that offers current fashion trends at exceptional prices. Dots is committed to offering the latest trends with buyers shopping Europe, New York and Los Angeles for next fresh and fun look. Today, the company is a vibrant growth retailer chain that operates more than 400 stores within a 28 state footprint.
