Timeless accessory – a tie forever!

Accessories like ties add a dash of elegance to a person wearing it and also come in all hues. Be it an occasion or a profession, ties exemplify an integral sense; the wearer's flamboyance in a desired

Different types of materials (cotton, silk or synthetic); colours (all hues), and styles (cravat, bow, bolo, clip-on etc) go in to the making of ties.
However, silk ties are all time favorites due to the material that blends in all perfection of the maker and the wearer.

On Muga silk, Mr T Sivakumar, Silk Mark Organisation of India says, “Fabric made of Muga silk is undoubtedly is one of the rarest and most expensive in the world. It comes from a rare species of silk worm cocoons called 'Antheraea Assamensis'.”
Interestingly, he informs that about 1,000 cocoons from the wild yield 125 grams of pure Muga Silk that possess natural golden colour and glossy fine texture. It is also one of the most durable silks known to man.
“Perhaps the most striking feature is its luster or sheen, which improves after every wash. No wonder it often outlives even its owner,” quips Mr Sivakumar.
