Numerous details borrowed from bespoke tailoring give the styles their exquisite character. The materials used are also exclusive – from classy Pima cotton cord and extra fine Merino wool through to cashmere denim.
“We believe in the renaissance of quality craftsmanship. For this reason at our trouser workshop we have honed in on the best comfort details in tailoring transposing these in the new line ‘Tribute to Tailoring’. These expertly crafted trousers meet the highest quality demands,” says Uta Erbeldinger, Head of Design for Menswear at Atelier GARDEUR.
For instance, the waistband stretches comfortably when the wearer sits down thanks to a bias finish. Sitting deep in the pocket pouch is a hidden coin pocket so that small change cannot fall out. An after-dinner split makes for additional comfort and also makes subsequent alterations possible. Safe pockets, leather button discs or multi section pocket pouches – the high-quality finish is evident in the many smart details.
The line ‘Tribute to Tailoring’ is operated within the Atelier GARDEUR collection and is aimed at high-end men’s outfitters as well as premium clothing departments. As trousers ideal for coordinating with classy knitwear, leather or well-groomed sports jackets ‘Tribute to Tailoring’ trousers fit equally well in sports jacket environments as they do in trouser departments.
The Mönchengladbach-based trouser specialist GARDEUR manufactures high-quality and innovative women’s and men’s trousers with a perfect fit. As Germany’s only fully integrated trousers manufacturer, GARDEUR can cover all stages of the development at its atelier, thus ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship and flexible collection control.
GARDEUR provides apparel retailers throughout the world with strategic partnerships and marketing support. Founded in 1920, the company employs a workforce of some 2,200 and delivers to approx. 3,000 customers worldwide.
