DAAN latest streetwear line now available at General Pants
Jun '13
The exclusive pre-release of Dan Single's newest boss streetwear fashion collection, DAAN, is available now, and General Pants Co. is pleased to be the only Australian retailer carrying the must-have looks online and in selected General Pants stores.

Named after Ksubi's former co-founder, who also happens to be the jet-setting partner of supermodel Bambi Northwood-Blyth, the DAAN line is a hybrid of street and runway fashion with an irresistible hook:  The menswear can just as easily be worn by fashion-savvy young women.

DAAN pieces are inspired by au courant models and fashion insiders who adore big and baggy styles with a casual vibe. This nod to androgyny is especially popular with the 15-24, cool-hunter consumer. Fresh and plugged in, DAAN offers a unique approach to street fashion that incorporates Single's tastes as a designer, DJ, and undisputed trendsetter.

Like General Pants's previous best-selling T-shirts, which sold out in two weeks after being seen on celebrities such as Lara Bingle , Phoebe Tonkin , Byron Spencer , Liam McKessar and Bambi, the DAAN pre-release includes more of Single's playful monochromatic "ANIMAAL 13" logo Tees, with or without sequins, and additional mix-and-match pieces.

These standout separates boast an edgy, tongue-in-cheek pink paisley on black-and-white print that is sure to sell out just as quickly. The paisley print is now available in T-shirts, track pants, and a 5-panel cap online and available in selected NSW, QLD, VIC and WA stores.

DAAN men's and women's wear are limited-edition collections and are exclusive to General Pants. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, General Pants Co. is a major style authority, premiering affordable, up-to-the-minute fashions embraced by youthful, style-conscious shoppers and sophisticated industry insiders alike. The global trend retailer presently has over 45 stores throughout Australia.

Founded in 1972 as a specialty denim store, General Pants's current DNA integrates stylish separates with hot-button influences from art, fashion, music, urban, and popular subcultures to create an effortlessly hip composite culture and merchandise line.

Brands stocked by General Pants include Stussy, Ksubi, Lee, Nudie Jeans, Arvust, Neon Hart, Vanishing Elepant, Vans, Subtitled, St&ard, OneTeaspoon, Insight and over 40 other leading local and international labels.
