Three cities to co-host Punjab fashion week

Punjab, the colourful state located in northwest India, will witness a back-to-back fashion extravaganza from January 5, 2013, in three of its most advanced cities – Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Amritsar.
Titled as Punjab Fashion Week, the event aims to support the state’s economic development by nurturing fashion industry-related businesses and promoting local designers, models as well as artists.
A range of fashion clothing, bridal collections, lehengas, suits, kurtis and home décor accessories created by ace designers like Rocky S, Munish Gupta and Sanjita Khera would be showcased at the event.
The event will also serve as a Buyer to Buyer (B2B) and Buyer to Consumer (B2C) platform for the participating exhibitors, who would get the opportunity to network and promote their businesses along with exhibiting their products.
Organized by India's leading events, media and space selling company Global Campus Media, the event will first take place in Chandigarh on January 5 and 6, followed by Jalandhar on January 8 and 9 and then Amritsar on January 11 and 12.
