Bangalore set for a dazzling fashion week

Twenty six handpicked designers are set to dazzle Bangalore this week at DF Silverline Bangalore Fashion Week. Powered by Snapdeal.com, the 13th edition of the fashion extravaganza brings back panache and glamour, with some of the leading designers in India all set to make Bangalore their stage from July 23 to July 26, DF Silverline Bangalore Fashion Week said in a statement.

Among the designers are Riyaz Ganji, Gaurang Shah, Monapali and Rehane. Rina Dhaka who has been designated as the grand finale designer, will present her exotic winter festive collection.

Bringing together a concoction of designers in its 13th edition, the DF Silverline Bangalore Fashion Week celebrates absolution in style. Managing Partner Danish Farook says, “DF Silverline’s association with Bangalore Fashion Week is a step towards reinforcing our commitment to create high-lifestyle homes for the fashion conscious.”

Announcing the preliminary schedule of designers, Feroz Khan, event director – Dream Merchants, spoke about the rich history of the event. “This year, and onwards, I see DF Silverline Bangalore Fashion Week growing from strength to strength. The experience is endlessly rewarding, and I am thrilled to see how we are growing. With 13 Bangalore editions and 2 International Editions under our belt, we are undoubtedly among the biggest fashion weeks in the country. And I am confident that the best of our pioneering innovations is yet to come!”

Rina Dhaka’s new collection brings floral embellishments be it in form of lace, starburst, needle work, sequins or 3 dimensional popping flowers. The collection boasts of gold florals and a vibrant palette with flowers and props that are used to inspire a story, the statement said. (SH)
