rue21 is on the move with 500th store!

rue21, a leading specialty value teen retailer for girls and guys is on the move once again, celebrating the Grand Opening of their 500th store in Harlingen, TX. rue21 has grown to 502 stores in 43 states.
Bob Fisch, President and CEO states, "We are extremely excited about this milestone in our Company's history as we continue to profitably grow and open an additional 500 stores in the next 5 years, reaching the 1,000 store level. rue21 stands for fashion and value as we are the dominant teen specialty retailer in community strip centers, regional malls and outlet centers."
The Company will have expanded the etc! accessory concept to 300 plus stores by the end of 2009, becoming a category killer for accessories in the retail arena.
New store openings in 2009 will create 1200-1500 new jobs and intensify brand awareness across the nation.
