In June, Pitti Immagine will proudly present the third edition of “WHO IS ON NEXT? UOMO”, the project organized by Pitti Immagine Uomo, Altaroma and L'Uomo Vogue, that seeks, and finds, new Italian – or Italian based – talents in men's fashions.

During the fair, an international panel of buyers, fashion journalists and opinion makers will judge the collections submitted by the 8 finalists and announce the winners. The award ceremony will be held on Wednesday morning, June 15th at Firenze.

The 8 finalists at this edition are: 10A Suspender Trousers Company (Matteo Cibic and Daria Dazzan); Comeforbreakfast (Antonio Romano e Francesco Alagna); Alessandro Manzi e Caterina Coccioli; Luca Larenza; Andrea Pompilio; Emiliano Rinaldi; and yet, for accessories, Milius by Milan (Milan Stamenovic), and out of competition, also for accessories, John Lee Brunswick.

The finalists' collections will be presented to the Pitti Uomo audience in a very special tech display – designed by architect Alessandro Moradei.

“WHO IS ON NEXT? UOMO is clearly established as a key program for promoting new talents in men's fashions”, says Raffaello Napoleone, the Pitti Immagine CEO, “It is a launch pad that boosts them onto the international stage, revealing their unique styling and creativity to buyers and the press and opening the way to successful careers in the world of fashion design.”

WHO IS ON NEXT? UOMO is one of the “The New Performers” projects – the program Pitti Discovery has developed to create opportunities for new talents in fashion, working with fashion's own materials and combining them with various artistic and esthetic disciplines. “The New Performers” is produced with the valuable support of the Fondazione Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.
