Quality Council of India & ONDC launch DigiReady portal for MSMEs

Recognising the vital role of the MSME sector in driving employment opportunities and fostering economic growth, this initiative marks a significant step towards digital inclusion.

Through the DRC portal, MSMEs can now assess and certify their digital readiness. This online self-assessment tool enables businesses to evaluate their preparedness for seamless integration into the ONDC platform, thereby expanding their digital capabilities and unlocking new avenues for growth, ministry of commerce and industry said in a statement.

The DRC portal offers a comprehensive assessment of various aspects crucial for digital readiness, including documentation for online operations, proficiency in technology usage, integration with existing digital workflows, and efficient management of orders and catalogues. By providing a streamlined pathway for MSMEs and small retailers to enhance their digital presence, the initiative aims to catalyse their participation in the digital economy and drive sustainable development.

It also resonates with the objectives of the recently launched FIRST (Forum for Internet Retailers, Sellers, and Traders).
