Ethylene prices surge in US market

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1650/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1645/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 1690/ton to US$ 1695/ton.
 
PTA prices went down in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1195/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1205/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 8875/ton to RMB 8925/ton.
 
Ethylene prices moved up in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1210/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were assessed in the range of 65.00 cents/pound to 65.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1400/ton and € 1140/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went down in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices decreased and were quoted at US$ 1185/ton. In China market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 1195/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 8900/ton to RMB 8950/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1620/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable at RMB 11500/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were decline in the range of RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11150/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1700/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1600/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 11775/ton to RMB 11825/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were quoted at RMB 11800/ton, RMB 12975/ton, and RMB 12250 respectively. In export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were assessed at US$ 1615/ton and US$ 1770/ton, and FDY US$ 1670/ton respectively.
