Shandong Hailong to become biggest viscose producer

Shandong Hailong Company is one of the largest manufacturers of viscose fibre in China and it currently has a capacity to manufacture 8,000 tons of viscose filament yarn, 170,000 tons of viscose staple fibre, 12,000 tons of cord fabric and 12,000 tons of canvas, and a few other variants.

The company had initiated an expansion plan last year. After the completion of the second phase, which includes addition of 50,000 tons of viscose fibre and 30,000 tons of different viscose products, the company will touch production capacity of 255,000 tons of viscose staple fibre.

This addition of production capacity will make Shandong Hailong, the biggest producer of the viscose in China. High humidity modulus viscose fibre is most likely to be a widely used viscose fiber and it is the only company in China to have the production capability to produce it.

Considering that the cost of high wet modulus fibre is only 15 percent higher than ordinary viscose fibre, humidity modulus viscose fiber has the potential to replace the conventional fibre due to its different properties and which will make Shandong Hailong the biggest beneficiary.
