Mr Raza suggests that if at all, mills employ children who are in dire need of money, some measures should be taken.

JC Penny, Country Head, explains, “The factories should do some thing like opening school in premises so that children can study as well as earn a decent living. Also, the children should get some fixed income so that they are able to take few leaves.”

He says that such conditions will help poor families to earn their bread and the children will not be mistreated.

Mr Raza demands, “Government should pass a law where child should be given more remuneration than the adults. This will force factories to prefer adults and eventually lessen the ratio of child labour.”

So, experts opine that there are many ways to curb child labour. It is finally upto the domestic industry and their foreign partners to cooperate with the Government and chisel out a mutually beneficial solution, which does not corrupt the unblemished childhoods of young minds.
