Leading experts head to Cotton Collective 2023 in Australia

Some of Australia’s and the world’s leading experts will be at Cotton Australia's Cotton Collective, starting August 1, 2023. The event will involve several major presentations including a keynote address by Queensland and Australian Rugby League legend Shane Webcke who will speak about his own personal connection to farm and workplace safety.

Other speakers include professor Richard Eckard who is director of the Primary Industries Climate Challenges Centre at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on carbon farming and accounting towards carbon neutral agriculture, managing extreme climate events and options for agriculture to respond to a changing climate, Cotton Australia said.

Other featured speakers include Beau Stephenson, senior vice president at Omnicotton Inc, where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s US position and marketing.

The full schedule for the Cotton Collective is now available on the Cotton Australia website, detailing the extensive opportunities available for knowledge sharing, research updates, and innovation.

The event will include an opt-in bus tour of sites around Toowoomba of interest to the cotton industry.
