Tissu Premier accompanies developments in fashion retail sector

High-quality networking and fast-paced business for Europe's first fabrics and accessories trade show in 2007. The 57th edition of TISSU PREMIER, held at Lille Grand Palais on January 31st and February 1st, enabled key players in the fashion sector to plan their collections for summer 2008 and devise last-minute products for this coming summer. At the show: 305 exhibitors played host to 5,592 decision-makers, primarily from Europe (3,222 France and 2,370 Europe).

A format which guarantees return on investment for all concerned with a slight increase in the average visitor exhibitor ratio. After France, the highest visitor numbers came from the following countries (in order): Belgium and the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Italy and Germany. The show welcomed a loyal following of major accounts (labels and brands) as well as an increasing number of young designers.
